Are you taking care of someone who isn’t getting out to enjoy the summer sunshine? Agingcare.com has posted a list of great outdoor activities that caregivers and seniors can do together, ranging from going on a picnic to flying a kite.  Check out their list at https://www.agingcare.com/articles/summer-activities-to-do-with-seniors-150881.htm.  Maybe it will spark some ideas for you and the ones you are caring for.

Getting outside helps boost one’s mood and simultaneously strengthens the brain. If those  you are caring for struggle to keep a positive outlook, it may be time for a good walk. Maybe you could add getting out for a hearing test with a local hearing care provider to the list. Proper hearing care greatly impacts one’s desire to get out and engage with others.
