What does this mean? This means not enough people are using hearing protection even though most people really could use it! It can be tempting to just tough out certain noises in our daily lives. However, our hearing can be a fickle thing. You may not realize how much damage is happening to your hearing until after it has happened.
It’s important to remember how important it is to play it safe. Do you feel like sounds you hear on a regular basis could be causing damage? Take steps! Wear ear plugs, turn down the volume, or close the window. Little things like this can go along way when it comes to keeping our hearing healthy.
