Last week, Sorenson Communications and CaptionCall hosted and sponsored a local technology group tackling some real world situations surrounding data science, shared some delicious food, and networked with other engineers and analysts throughout the Salt Lake City, Utah area. It was a well-attended event discussing SQL Server hosted by our own Andrea Allred who’s been a part of the local chapter for over 2 years; topics discussed included: interjoins, runtime issues, result sends, powershell, stored procedures, differentials, impact analysis, TFS, T-SQL, BGP, SSIS, and even views over tables for circumstances that warrant them. If that all sounds like a different language to you, join the club as I also was well out of my knowledge range with this great group of collaborative and mindful people helping each other out with real issues they’re facing in their work.
CaptionCall and Sorenson love our community here in Utah and our Engineering and IT departments take pride and passion in the work that they do which is why so many of them are involved with Meetup groups like this, https://www.meetup.com/Utah-SQL-Server-Group/ .
