Sometimes it can feel tough to try and get up. With bones creaking and muscles aching, motivation may be low to maintain an active lifestyle. However, there is one activity you may want to make room for as you age – yoga.

Yoga has been proven to help increase strength and energy. Need an example? Meet Eileen Ash from the United Kingdom. She’s 105 years old and attributes her long healthy life to her active lifestyle. You can see her story here:

It’s important that no matter what is going on in your life to try and stay active. Be safe, don’t push yourself too hard. Find a yoga class near you or start walking around the neighborhood. No matter what it is, start taking the little steps now to be active so you live a long, healthy, happy life.
