It can be tough to recognize when you need to start taking special steps to protect your hearing. Is a vacuum too loud? An alarm clock? Well Cleveland Clinic has a fantastic infographic showing the spectrum of sound. Take a glance at it next time you are wondering if you’re in the hearing loss danger zone. You can see it here: https://health.clevelandclinic.org/2014/03/how-safe-are-your-ears-infographic/

The infographic includes some fantastic things you can do to help protect your hearing as well. Noise induced hearing loss is one of the most common forms of hearing loss, and it is completely preventable. Paying attention to the noises that we surround ourselves with is an important step in hearing protection.
