Are you thinking about getting hearing aids but are a little worried about having a large device hanging on to your ears? You may be surprised to hear just how far hearing aid technology has come. You’ve probably noticed when it comes to your cell phone, technology just keeps getting smaller and more convenient. It’s the same way with hearing aids. ‘Betterhearing.org’ has a great list of advancements that modern hearing aids have made.

The list includes-

  1. Hearing aids are almost invisible
  2. They can automatically adjust to all sorts of soundscapes
  3. There is a hearing aid for just about everyone
  4. Water, sweat, and dust aren’t the issue they used to be
  5. Most hearing aids now work with your computer or smartphone
  6. Batteries are much easier to keep charged.

  1. I have Comcast as my provider of TV, Land line phone, and computer. I have what is called profound hearing loss. I wear (2) BTE aids. I do not want a bill going forward nor a monthly payment. Saying this, is this phone and service at NO cost to me?

  2. I like that you mentioned how hearing aids are getting smaller and smaller and harder to notice. My siblings and I have been trying to convince our mother to get hearing aids for some time, but she is fearful of how she will look with them. We will have to mention that they can be made nearly invisible and unnoticeable.
